Job Description
The Evergreen State College seeks a faculty member to teach a quartertime 4 quarter hour) introductorytointermediate course in music theory in spring quarter 2026. The course will be located in Evergreens school of Professional and Continuing Education and are expected to be taught in the evenings or on weekends. The course will be taught in person
Minimum Qualifications
Masters degree in music or closely related field Teaching or professional training experience Experience working with diverse and underserved populations of students
Preferred Qualifications
Terminal degree in field Collegelevel teaching experience Experience in teaching an acoustic musical instrument Willingness to use exploratory cooperative approaches to teaching and learning
