The quality of the Headliner experience is our top priority. Throughout our 30year history Insomniac has produced festivals concerts and club nights for millions of attendees across the nation. The company was founded by Pasquale Rotella and has been based in Los Angeles since it was formed in 1993.
Insomniac Clubs are focused on creating a bestinclass experience for their Headliners. Our expanding roster of club partners includes some of the worlds top venues delivering performances from globally renowned DJs backed by topnotch sound and visuals. The diverse calendar of events celebrates the electronic dance music community and culture offering an endless range of experiences.
THE ROLE
AAA is looking for a Bookkeeper who will be responsible for the accounting operations of the company including but not limited to: the production of periodic financial reports maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk. Bookkeeper enhances the accuracy of the companys reported financial results and ensures that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards. This is not a remote position and is located in Woodland Hills CA.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Accounting
Ensure that accounts payable are paid in a timely manner
Run payroll with ADP
Ensure that all reasonable discounts are taken on accounts payable
make certain that accounts receivable are collected promptly
Process payroll in a timely manner
Ensure that periodic bank reconciliations are completed
Ensure that required debt payments are made on a timely basis
Must be computer savvy.
Maintain the chart of accounts
Manage and oversee all daytoday accounting operations including general ledger accounts payable accounts receivable and collections fixed assets and tax compliance
preserve an orderly accounting filing system
Maintain a system of controls over accounting transactions
Prepare monthly account analysis and financial and operational reports to identify and explain fluctuations in performance
Reporting
Issue timely and complete financial statements
Coordinate the preparation of the corporate annual report
Recommend benchmarks against which to measure the performance of company operations
compute and issue financial and operating metrics
Calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues to management
Provide for a system of management cost reports
Provide financial analyses as needed in particular for capital investments pricing decisions
Compliance
Synchronize the provision of information to external auditors for the annual audit
Monitor debt levels and compliance with debt covenants
Comply with local state and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings

QUALIFICATIONS
3 years of bookkeeping and accounting management experience in a large organization preferably within the Entertainment industry
Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting and CPA preferred or equivalent experience
1 years of analysis skills
Ability to work as part of a team in a highly collaborative environment
Excellent communication skills
License/Certification:
CPA (Preferred)
Quickbooks Certification (Preferred)

Hiring Salary Range: $25.00 35.00 USD per hour
