MaineGeneral is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to work in Waterville Maine. This position is ideal for someone interested in providing psychiatry services while working in collaboration with a primary care medical team. The PMHNP will function as a clinical leader providing direct patient care and services as a resources for other staff in guiding decision making implementing treatment plans and improving comprehensive patient care. This fulltime position involves 32 hours of patientseeing time with an additional eight hours dedicated to administrative work.
The PMHNP will:
provide psychiatric evaluations and determine diagnoses.
prescribe and manage psychiatric medications.
work collaboratively with case management counseling and primary care medical staff.
have the opportunity to be involved with either individual for groupbased MAT treatment services.
