Join Our Team:
We are seeking an innovative and dynamic Global Benefits Director to design a forwardthinking strategy that enhances our benefits and wellness offerings while leading our global benefits team through an exciting phase of growth. In this pivotal role you will influence our overall employee experience working at both strategic and operational levels to evolve our benefits programs scale infrastructure and deliver impactful wellness initiatives across our global workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evolve Lumentums benefits strategy to attract and retain top talent supporting our continuous growth and fostering a culture of wellbeing.
- Oversee the design implementation and administration of all employee benefit programs including health insurance retirement plans wellness initiatives recognition programs absence management Return to Office programs and other voluntary benefits.
- Lead and develop a highperforming global benefits team ensuring alignment with company goals and driving employee engagement through innovative benefits solutions.
- Roll up your sleeves to support the team if/when neededwhether solving complex benefits issues optimizing processes or stepping in where needed to ensure success
- Partner with finance legal and HR teams to deliver benefits programs that are budgetconscious market relevant and compliant with local and global regulations.
- Negotiate with carriers and brokers to secure competitive coverage and services presenting compelling business cases for changes when needed.
- Develop training and communication programs to educate leaders managers and employees on our benefits and wellness offerings fostering a culture of awareness and engagement.
- Research and implement global best practices and emerging trends in benefits to ensure our offerings remain competitive and innovative.
- Lead the benefits integration process during mergers and acquisitions ensuring smooth transitions and alignment of new teams into existing programs.
- Design and execute communication strategies that effectively promote our total rewards programs to employees at all levels.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g. ERISA ACA HIPAA FMLA COBRA) by conducting regular audits and maintaining uptodate knowledge of federal state and global regulations.
- Strategize and lead the annual benefits open enrollment process ensuring clear communication and smooth . Organize and execute enrollment fairs and activities that promote excitement to the workforce
- Design implement and scale wellness programs globally using data to articulate ROI and measurable outcomes that benefit both the company and employees.
- Ensure that U.S. health retirement and voluntary benefits programs are optimized for employee engagement costeffectiveness and compliance.
- Partner with local providers and stakeholders to optimize healthcare retirement and leave programs for Canadian employees
Qualifications:
- A deep understanding of benefits including the ability to effectively leverage various benefits and wellness programs to enhance the employee experience.
- 8 years of experience managing benefits or compensation programs preferably in highgrowth technology or public companies.
- Experience in navigating the complexities of global benefits practices particularly in regions such as Brazil Canada China Thailand Japan US and Europe.
- A proven track record of building and leading effective teams in a fastpaced dynamic environment.
- A creative and strategic mindset with the courage to challenge the status quo and drive continuous improvement.
- Flexibility and adaptability to switch between tactical and strategic planning as the company grows.
- Indepth experience working in a global environment with an understanding of the financial legal and tax implications of international benefits programs.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to distill complex topics into simple actionable insights for various audiences.
Pay Range:
P90USA1 :$156800.00 $224000.00Disclaimer:
Final base salary for the successful candidate will depend on multiple factors including but not limited to job location where work will be performed qualifications work history and relevant experience. With our continual goal of making Lumentum a best place to work for our employees we strive to offer employees competitive total compensation packages which may include annual bonus commission for certain sales roles equity and health and welfare benefits.
