  • Adapt the Global and Latin America and Caribbean crossborder payments strategy for the CarCam Region and develop tactical plans to achieve defined goals design effective client relationships and business development strategies.
  • Responsible for executing the crossborder strategy program management and coordinating of CrossBorder activities for the assigned Region.

  •  Structure and solve crossborder related business problems collaborating and coordinating with a range of internal stakeholders to make recommendations on a wide range of issues including pricing payment success and emerging segments.
  • Work across functional areas including strategy development program management and performance monitoring for key strategic indicators driving XB initiatives forward from concept to focused resourced plans with paths to scaled implementation.
  • Create rigorous and accessible analytic and strategic frameworks for evaluating opportunities and gotomarket strategies
  • Develop clear and concise executive level communications. Communicate recommendations to senior management other executive functional or regional staff in a clear concise and impactful way.
  • Represent Visa in client discussions as the CrossBorder expert by partnering with Account Executives working with banks merchants and acquirers to understand their needs.
  • Support Account Executives in cultivating and managing the subsequent pipeline of activity and revenue opportunities. Understand deal commercials to align investment and target the right opportunities.
  • Take proactive measures to knowledge share coach and train Sales and other functional teams in the Andean on activities related to CrossBorder growth.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 23 set days a week (determined by leadership/site) with a general guidepost of being in the office 50 or more of the time based on business needs.


Qualifications :

Bachelors Degree required. MBA preferred
8 10 years of experience in highly successful businesses that have a strong track record of client service strategic development and . Experience at a toptier management consultancy and/or a solid trackrecord of operating in an inhouse corporate strategy role coupled with managing operations of a function or business unit is a strong plus.
Extensive experience in either banking/financial services sector or Technology / FINTECH sector experience.
Strong knowledge of payment industry products services and technologies eCommerce mobile technology and CrossBorder business is a plus.
Experience in clientfacing roles having led client discussions and solutioning engagements with multiple key stakeholders ideally including financial institutions (banks) large retailers multinationals governments local partners etc.
A proven track record of delivering high impact results working on projects in the areas of corporate strategy growth initiatives and new market/segment/business strategies
Global or multinational business experience is preferred
Ability to structure and manage complex crossenterprise projects and processes with multiple stakeholders
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to influence and build credibility with senior functional and regional leaders within Visa. Team oriented collaborative diplomatic and flexible.
Strong commercial and financial acumen
Superior problem solving skills with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor
Proactive and effective communicator. Experienced at presenting information to all levels with ability to facilitate group discussions and debate and proven ability to influence and communicate effectively across geographic and functional lines
Willingness to travel 40.
Fluent in English and Spanish.
