Job Description
Description of the Role:
The Automotive Technician role at Classic Kia Smithfield involves performing routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles ensuring their safe and efficient operation.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting vehicle inspections and diagnostic tests to identify issues and determine necessary repairs
- Performing maintenance tasks such as oil changes tire rotations and filter replacements
- Repairing or replacing vehicle parts and systems such as brakes engines and electrical components
- Keeping accurate records of all services and repairs performed
- Collaborating with other team members to provide excellent customer service
Requirements:
- Prior experience as an Automotive Technician
- Kia or Hyundai experience a plus
- Proficient knowledge of automotive systems and repairs
- Strong diagnostic and problemsolving skills
- Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Valid drivers license
- ASE certification is preferred
- NC State Inspection a plus
