The role is for a Property & Casualty Package Underwriter focussed on new business development in the upper SME/lower middlemarket would be responsible for new business underwriting and trading with broker partners from across the UK including pipelining quoting negotating and writing new P&C package business.
You will be expected to have property and casualty technical experience knowledge and aptitude to establish underwriting authority and exercise this within Chubbs technical guidelines and best practices. You will also be expected to have passion skill and a track record for new business development in the upper SME/lower middlemarket segment. You will be measured against key new business metrics and goals.
Positive engagement and collaboration with our broker partners underwriting management sales and distribution and crossline colleagues would be key to success in this role.
The role is based in Birmingham.
