Job Description

Job Summary:

BMW of North Haven is Connecticuts Only BMW Center of Excellence Winner!

We are seeking a highenergy resultsoriented and driven Preowned Sales Manager to join our team in North Haven Connecticut. As the Preowned Sales Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the used car department and driving sales performance at our dealership. This is a fulltime individual contributor role in the fastpaced and exciting auto industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in sales and a passion for luxury vehicles.

Compensation & Benefits:
This is a fulltime position with a base salary plus commission. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance paid time off and employee discounts on vehicles parts and services.

Responsibilities:
Lead and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and exceed customer expectations
Develop and implement sales strategies and tactics to increase revenue and profitability
Collaborate with other departments such as marketing and finance to ensure seamless operations and maximize sales opportunities
Maintain an indepth knowledge of BMW vehicles features and technology to effectively communicate with customers
Manage the sales process from lead generation to closing including negotiating sales prices and financing options
Create and maintain a positive and professional work environment that promotes teamwork customer satisfaction and employee development
Continuously monitor market trends customer needs and competitor activity to inform sales strategies and identify growth opportunities

Requirements:

BMW dealership experience a plus but not mandatory
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in sales marketing business or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a sales management role preferably in the automotive industry
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication negotiation and customer service abilities
Indepth knowledge and passion for luxury vehicles specifically the BMW brand
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends (Saturday) and holidays based on dealership needs
