Job Summary/Description:
KVVU FOX5 the Grayowned station in Las Vegas has an opening for an experienced anchor/reporter. The position will include anchoring and reporting each work day.
Duties/Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Anchor on air and online daily as scheduled.
Must be experienced in handling breaking news and live field coverage as needed.
This position will anchor or coanchor at least one hour of news.
All FOX5 anchors also report so the successful candidate will also demonstrate a track record of strong enterprise reporting.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Five years minimum experience as an anchor and reporter in a television newsroom.
Proven ability to conceive and pitch strong enterprise (original) story ideas that support the FOX5 Local Las Vegas brand.
Strong writing and the ability to tell engaging stories through visual mediums are essential.
College degree preferred but not required.
