Job Description
AsSr. Oracle Systems Engineer III youll lead the technical operations and engineering efforts for a large complex system utilizing Oracle EBusiness Suite (EBS) and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). The ideal candidate will bring extensive technical expertise in enterprise systems IT operations and network operations center (NOC) environments combined with the leadership ability to direct and manage a team of 50 or more technical staff members. This role is critical to ensuring the reliability scalability and security of missioncritical systems.

What youll do:
- Provide technical leadership and strategic direction for the operation and modernization of Oracle EBS and OCI environments.
- Oversee daily IT operations and ensure high availability performance and scalability of enterprise systems.
- Direct the activities of a large technical team including system administrators database administrators network engineers and application developers
- Lead and manage the daily operations of Oracle EBS and OCI environments to ensure reliability and performance.
- Oversee the resolution of highpriority incidents and the implementation of longterm solutions.
- Develop and execute plans for system upgrades migrations and optimization projects.
- Monitor and analyze system performance metrics to proactively identify and address potential issues.
- Provide mentorship and direction to technical staff fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical initiatives with organizational goals
- Prepare and deliver technical reports and briefings to stakeholders and executive leadership.
What youll need to succeed:
- You have an active DoD Secret security clearance
- Masters Degree in Systems or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 10 years deep technical knowledge of Oracle EBS Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and related technologies including database management and middleware.
- 10 years technical experience in a network operations or IT operations center within the Federal Government.
- You currently hold the following certifications: Oracle EBS ITIL4 Practice Manager Plan Implement and Control CISSP or CISM
- 3 experience in cloud security automation and infrastructureascode practices.
- Strong understanding of IT operations monitoring tools and NOC processes.
- Experience with managing multiple DevSecOps teams and CI/CD pipelines
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills with the ability to mentor and develop technical staff.
