  • Status: Full Time benefitted
  • Shift Times: Monday Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM

What Youll Do:


As a Behavioral Health Therapist you willprovide initial intake assessment and ongoing and/or acute clinical assessment diagnosis individual therapy crisis intervention and case management services for adult clients with mild to severe mental health symptoms substance use disorder symptoms intellectual and developmental disorders (IDD) and/or other disabilities. Therapists will develop document and monitor treatment plans; monitor and document treatment services interactions and progress. Ensure that documentation and maintenance of client chart meets agency state federal etc. audit standards. Collaborate with internal (i.e. medical psychiatric clinical case management peers etc. and external (i.e. referral agencies family friends etc. treatment team members and/or supports around a clients treatment plan goals treatment and treatment progress. Coordinate with collaterals and/or partner agencies during and after a clients treatment to ensure sustainable support and stepdown services are in place. Members of these teams are an integral part of SummitStone and our Northern Colorado community working closely with a myriad of other organizations to help ensure that special populations are served with unconditional positive regard. We are looking for individuals who enjoy working within a team are versed in Evidence Based Treatment practices and those seeking to grow their clinical skills in a fastpaced environment.

Essential Duties:

  • Direct client care includes care coordination behavioral health related screenings and assessments intake assessments diagnosing individual therapy brief therapy case management referrals and related clinical services.
  • Serves as a clinical resource person to building site(s) clinical staff case managers medical providers and collaterals.
  • Knowledge of professional policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other staff and supervisors in providing planning developing implementing and evaluating clinical services.
  • Provides crisis intervention to include crisis assessment and deescalation.
  • Multidisciplinary coordination and collaboration approach internal as well as external providers and supportive services to deliver needed services to clients.
  • Perform Clinical documentation and other duties as assigned in a timely manner.
  • Supports and fosters team values with peers and clinic staff to provide support and remove barriers.
  • Maintains superior customer service for internal and external customers by providing information and answering questions/requests in a timely manner.
  • May participate on committees (both internal and external) in meetings and work on projects as assigned.

Required:

  • Masters degree in behavioral science rehabilitation social work counseling psychology or related field and/or license in Human Services field from accredited College or University.
  • Registered with DORA as a Candidate working towards licensure to be providing therapy.
  • At least one year of experience in the behavioral health field.

Preferred:

  • LCSW/LPC; CAT/CAS/LAC certification; Trauma Informed Care experience.
  • Bilingual/bicultural preferred.
  • At least one year of experience with individuals with mild to severe mental illness IDD and substance use disorders.

Some positions include driving a company vehicle and require a valid Colorado drivers license.

Our Behavioral Health Therapists have access to exceptional training opportunities in evidencebased practices and support in gaining and keeping licensure and addictions certification:

  • Receive supervision toward clinical licensure (i.e. LCSW LPC LMFT LAC) and/or certification (i.e. CAS) at no cost to the employee
  • Have the opportunity to participate in specialized clinical certifications (i.e. EMDR etc.


Total Rewards

The typical hiring range for this position is:

  • Masters Level Unlicensed: $58011 $69618 annually
  • Masters Level Licensed: $66040 $79217 annually
  • based on relevant years of experience
