Job Description

We are seeking individuals with experience in the CAVE (Community AntiViolence Education) Programat Danville Correctional Centerto participatein a weekly online groupand contribute their knowledge and insights to support others. This role is ideal for those who are passionate about personal growth community support and continuing the mission of the CAVE Program.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in and engage with a weekly online discussion group.
  • Provide mentorship guidance and shared experiences to support group members.
  • Offer feedback on facilitation of the outside regional coordinator personal transformation and reentry challenges.
  • Help foster a positive supportive and solutionfocused environment.
  • Optionally assist with outreach networking or content development related to CHOICE program goals.

Qualifications:

  • Must have prior experience with the CAVE Programat Danville Correctional Center.
  • Comfortable participating in online discussionsand contributing insights.
  • Strong communicationskills and a willingness to support others.
  • Ability to commit to up to 5 hours per week including attending the weekly group meeting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience facilitating or leading group discussions.Need to take turns planning and executing weekly cave meetings.
  • Participant will be compensated $75 per hour with the work schedule of no more than 5 hours a week
  • Interest in restorative justice reentry support or community outreach.
  • Basic computer skills for participating in virtual meetings.
