Lead Specialty Machine Builder
Direct opportunity
Rate:$2228/hr
Schedule:
MondayThursday 6am to 4:30pm
Friday Saturday and Sunday as needed with advanced notice
Paid 10minute break for every 2 hours worked
Able to travel 15 (including weekends)
Dayton OH
Responsibilities:
Lead and perform the manufacturing assembly and installations of work cell/projects from start to finish.
Lead the project and bench helpers by coordinating with the Shop Supervisor as to the projects requirements of material and labor needed to meet the projects scheduled dates.
Lead and mentor an assigned Bench Helper to assist you during the project build.
On and offsite installation of company systems at customers facility 15 travel is mandatory as needed).
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years trade experience as a lead builder and machinist.
Precision assembling of special machines (precision assembly of high tolerance machined parts and components).
Machining (all types of material including mild steel stainless steel tool steels and plastics).
Rigging and forklift operations (to rig large pieces into the main assembly). Training available.
Understand how to comprehend/read mechanical prints/drawings (machined detail weldment sheet metal hydraulics and pneumatics and sub and main assembly prints).
Must own trade related tools and be able to invest in additional tools as necessary. Be able to provide list of tools at interview.
Able to travel 15 (including weekends).
Consistent attendance is vital for your success as well as the companys.
Willingness to work overtime and weekend as needed with advanced notice.
Valid drivers license with proof of insurance and clean record.
Pass a background check and drug test.
Lockout/Tagout procedures (training provided).
Must provide and wear safety toed work boots.
Capable of lifting 40lbs without assistance.
Full range of physical movement/activity including climbing bending over kneeling pushing pulling lifting holding standing and walking.
Fine precision hand dexterity (working with small parts).
