Job Description
The Admissions Counselor is responsible for planning developing implementing and evaluating recruitment and communication strategies to enroll new students to all Oregon Tech campuses (Klamath Falls PortlandMetro other satellite locations and online). This position provides customer service to students and families across multiple communication channels to help students decide if Oregon Tech is the right fit. Extensive travel to high schools community colleges and careers fairs throughout the Pacific Northwest and other areas deemed necessary is required. In addition working evening and weekends and assisting with large on campus events and daily visits is required. Datainformed territory management ethical decision making and relationship building are integral components of the position. Effective and respectful communication and working with people of varying beliefs behaviors orientations identities and cultural backgrounds are key components of the position along with a strong commitment to the principles of Inclusion Diversity Equity & Access.
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual in Spanish. Experience working in education or with high school and community college age students. Experience working with a multicampus system academic rules policies and procedures general education requirements budgetary policies and procedures.
