Job Description
Hire Resolves client is urgently seeking the expertise of an experienced Backend Data Engineer in Cape Town (Hybrid).
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define system requirements design solutions and ensure the delivery of highquality software.
- Advocate for best practices in Data processing and API designs systems architectures automation and system scalability.
- Proactively problemsolve and anticipate potential issues before they escalate.
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field
- 3 years of experience in software development
- Experience in backend technologies for example Flask or Django would be a plus
- Experience in Big Data technologies such as Kafka Hadoop Data Lakes OLAP databases.
- A good understanding of network operations cloud services and system security measures
- A proactive approach to problemsolving with the ability to anticipate and mitigate potential issues before they escalate.
- Designing high performance analytical systems over terabytes of data
