We are seeking passionate and dedicated Family Support Workers to join our team. We currently have two positions available:
0.8 FTE 7month Maternity Leave Cover) with the possibility of extension.
0.6 FTE 13monthShortTerm Contract) with the potential for extension.
In this role you will provide vital support to young people aged 018 years helping them navigate challenges and access essential services. Your work will make a real difference in the lives of children and their caregivers.

Your role as a Family Support Worker
As a Family Support Workeryou will provide short term support to young people aged 018 years and their families helping them navigate challenges and access essential services. Your work will make a real difference in their lives and the broader community.
Youll have the opportunity to:
Provide practical and emotional support to young people and families in need.
Work collaboratively with children parents and caregivers to promote wellbeing.
Connect families with appropriate services and community resources.
Develop and implement tailored support plans.
Maintain accurate records and report on client progress.

What youll bring
Relevant Experience: Experience in case management program delivery development and evaluation.
Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Teamwork & Adaptability: Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing needs.
Compassionate Approach: A compassionate and clientcentred approach.
Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in welfare or related fields or extensive experience working with families with complex needs.
Requirements: A valid drivers licence and relevant clearances (or willingness to obtain).
