Job Summary:

Lead Planner

Job Description:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties as assigned):

  • Strategic Planning:
  • Lead the development and of maintenance plans and strategies that align with company goals and operational needs.
  • Ensure effective planning of preventive predictive and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Establish asset and spare part criticality criteria
  • Monitor and optimize the use of spare parts and inventory to support maintenance activities.
  • Recommend improvements to maintenance processes and practices based on data analysis.
  • Process Optimization:
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance maintenance efficiency reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
  • Capital Planning:
  • Manage lifecycle of facility and manufacturing assets and maintain a 5 year replacement plan with budget projections.
  • Compliance & Safety:
  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with relevant regulations standards and safety protocols.
  • Promote a strong safety culture within the maintenance team.
  • Performance Monitoring:
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track maintenance performance analyze data and drive corrective actions as needed.
  • Foster a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Work closely with operations engineering and procurement teams to coordinate maintenance activities and support overall business objectives.

SCOPE & IMPACT:

This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of the companys equipment and facilities by effectively leading the planning and scheduling of maintenance activities across the network. This role minimizes downtime and maximizes production uptime directly impacting the companys operational performance and profitability. This roles work supports the longterm sustainability and safety of the organizations assets.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelors degree in Facilities Management or related field with 68 years of relevant work experience or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of CMMS operation and administration.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers regulatory agencies or members of the business community.
  • Experience with a formal problemsolving methodology including six sigma.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • Masters degree in engineering business or related field.
  • CMRP CRL CRE
  • Strong knowledge of TPM RCM and FMEA
  • Experience with CAM CMMS

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Will directly or indirectly lead the maintenance planners and schedulers for the entire network

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Often required to sit repetitive hand motion (such as typing) hear listen talk stand walk bend stoop climb stairs crawl reach overhead push/pull and lift up to 30 pounds. Seldom required to Climb ladders kneel squat crouch balance or lift up over 50 pounds.
