Overview
Progress Partners is seeking to hire a Bostonbased Investment Banking Associate Technology to help support its M&A and Capital Markets transactions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment experience with financial statements financial modeling and strong communication skills. Prior experience in executing M&A and Capital Markets transactions in Technology verticals is highly preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and assist in the preparation of proposals client presentations and transaction materials
- Conduct extensive financial and valuation analyses
- Develop marketing materials complex financial analyses and models and ensure data integrity and accuracy of all deliverables
- Monitor campaigns coordinate meetings and prepare and actively participate in weekly updates
- Manage due diligence processes including data room management and coordination between all stakeholders (internal and external)
- Support transaction negotiations
- Identifies when content and expertise is required from clients and senior members of the team
- Participate in the recruitment development training and mentoring of Analysts and junior resources
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
- 3 years of relevant experience in investment banking required
- Bachelors degree required; MBA preferred. Focus in business finance accounting or similar preferred
- Strong knowledge of M&A and capital raising practices is essential
- Solid finance/accounting knowledge; ability to analyze and value businesses
- Experience in supervising and reviewing Analysts work
- Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills
- Excellent analytical creative and strategic thinking skills
- Team player mentality combined with the ability to work independently
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize deliverables
- Strict attention to detail and advanced Microsoft Office suite skills; Expert in Excel and PowerPoint
