Investment Banking Associate Technology

Overview

Progress Partners is seeking to hire a Bostonbased Investment Banking Associate Technology to help support its M&A and Capital Markets transactions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment experience with financial statements financial modeling and strong communication skills. Prior experience in executing M&A and Capital Markets transactions in Technology verticals is highly preferred.

The ideal candidate must be selfmotivated creative proactive outgoing and possess a strong background in finance and accounting.

Responsibilities:


  • Prepare and assist in the preparation of proposals client presentations and transaction materials
  • Conduct extensive financial and valuation analyses
  • Develop marketing materials complex financial analyses and models and ensure data integrity and accuracy of all deliverables
  • Monitor campaigns coordinate meetings and prepare and actively participate in weekly updates
  • Manage due diligence processes including data room management and coordination between all stakeholders (internal and external)
  • Support transaction negotiations
  • Identifies when content and expertise is required from clients and senior members of the team
  • Participate in the recruitment development training and mentoring of Analysts and junior resources
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:


  • 3 years of relevant experience in investment banking required
  • Bachelors degree required; MBA preferred. Focus in business finance accounting or similar preferred
  • Strong knowledge of M&A and capital raising practices is essential
  • Solid finance/accounting knowledge; ability to analyze and value businesses
  • Experience in supervising and reviewing Analysts work
  • Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent analytical creative and strategic thinking skills
  • Team player mentality combined with the ability to work independently
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize deliverables
  • Strict attention to detail and advanced Microsoft Office suite skills; Expert in Excel and PowerPoint
