Job Title: Criminal Defence Duty Solicitor
Location: Birmingham UK
Salary: 50000 per annum DOE

Join a wellestablished legal firm with offices across the UK known for their expertise in criminal defence. This is an opportunity to be part of a dedicated team committed to protecting the rights of their clients.

About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Criminal Defence Duty Solicitor to represent clients in a wide range of criminal cases from theft to drug offences. Youll provide expert legal advice represent clients in police stations and courts and prepare strong legal defences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients during interviews and court hearings
  • Prepare cases including legal research and drafting documents
  • Advocate for clients in court and negotiate with prosecutors
  • Maintain case records and ensure legal compliance

Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor with criminal defence experience
  • Duty Solicitor accreditation
  • Strong advocacy negotiation and communication skills
