JOB OVERVIEW

At PwC AC as an AWSDatabricks Senior Developer the candidate will interact with Offshore Manager/ Onsite Business Analyst to understand the requirements and the candidate is responsible for endtoend implementation of Cloud data engineering solutions like Enterprise Data lake Data hub in AWS. The candidate should have strong experience in AWS cloud technology. Ability to work as cloud developer.

Years of Experience: Candidates with 24 years of experience in developing and delivering scalable big data pipelines using Apache Spark and Databricks on AWS.

Position Requirements:

Must Have:

• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines using Databricks Apache Spark.
• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes for structured and unstructured data.
• Knowledge on Lakehouse architecture for efficient data storage processing and analytics.
• Orchestrating ETL/ELT Pipelines: using Databricks Workflows
• Worked with AWS Data Services S3 Lambda CloudWatch for seamless integration.
• Worked on data governance
• Monitor troubleshoot and improve Databricks jobs and clusters.
• Exposure to endtoend implementation of migration projects to AWS Cloud
• AWS & Python knowledge with handson cloud development.
• Orchestration: Airflow
• Code Repositories: Git GitHub.
• Good in writing SQL
• Strong Analytical ProblemSolving & Communication Skills.

Good to have Knowledge / Skills:

• Experience in Datawarehouse
• Knowledge of Databricks Delta Live Table.
• Streaming: Kafka Spark Streaming.
• CICD : Jenkins
• IaC & Automation: Terraform for Databricks deployment.

Professional and Educational Background:

• BE / B.Tech / MCA / M.Sc / M.E / M.Tech / MBA

Certification:

Amazon Web Services (AWS) certifications (AWS certified Data Engineer is recommended).

Databricks Certified Associate Developer for Apache Spark
