Job Summary
Responsible for maintaining and updating outside operated production data into company production and accounting systems. Responsible for generating filing and reporting a variety of internal production volume reports. Conduct analysis of outside operated production. Provides support to the Production Operations Department and its engineering group.
Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure timely validation and closure of daily and monthly production volumes for seamless integration into the Merrick system.
Conduct routine analysis of production versus sales data.
Provide assistance to other departments by providing production sales and injection data.
Provide insights into production variance trends.
Maintain physical files in an organized manner for utilization by company personnel.
Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Competencies
Proficiency in software applications such as Excel Outlook Word and others within the Microsoft Office Suite.
Basic understanding and application of Excel functions
Experience utilizing databases such as Microsoft Access and SQL
Actively seeks new ways to grow and be challenged using both formal and informal development channels.
Builds partnerships and works collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.
Demonstrates selfawareness using a combination of feedback and reflection to gain productive insight into personal strengths and weaknesses.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma (or GED).
Minimum of two 2 years of related experience.
An acceptable preemployment background and drug test.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or Business Administration from an accredited college or university.
Previous experience with regulatory reporting
Previous experience with oil & gas production or revenue accounting.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
Requires prolonged sitting some bending and stooping.
Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
