Rand Postdoctoral FellowJob Description:
The Asian Studies Program at Pomona College seeks applications for the Rand Postdoctoral Fellowship a twoyear position that will begin July 1 2025.
This teaching fellowship is open to scholars whose work engages premodern China in ways that will generate innovative approaches to the research and teaching of Asia. The candidate should have their Ph.D. degree no earlier than 2020. We welcome research grounded in crossdisciplinary perspectives and teaching that links China with other geographical region(s).
During the first year of the fellowship the teaching load is two classes one each semester. The fellow will teach three classes during the second year. The fellow will have access to a research stipend and college funding opportunities for conference travel and teaching/research expenses. The compensation for the fellowship will be: AY2526 $70000; AY2627 $73000.
