About the Role
The Plastic and Reconstructive Fellowship will include exposure to a wide spectrum of reconstructive surgery including: breast sarcoma head and neck skin malignancy hand surgery and maxillofacial surgery. Clinical management of patients will be under the care and direction of the Director of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. You will be expected to undertake a clinical research project and be involved in undergraduate and postgraduate medical teaching and mentoring.
Classifications for this position will range from HM25 HM30 ($129048.40 $177622.12 pro rata per annum) salary sacrifice and excluding super
Your Contribution
MBBS or equivalent
FRACS Part II or equivalent
Current police clearance or willing to obtain
Registration with AHPRA
Excellent skills and competencies as a clinician and excellent communication skills with patients their families and ones colleagues
Teaching commitment and skills in the areas of undergraduate postgraduate and continuing medical education
Ongoing involvement with and encouragement of research

The Plastics and Reconstructive Surgery Unit at SVHM has been a leader in the microsurgical reconstruction of both traumatic and malignant defects throughout the body as well as elective and acute hand surgery. It has been the centre of innovation and ongoing advances in providing better patient care.
