Department Overview

The ComputerAided Dispatch center a crucial component of cuttingedge group communication solutions is chiefly responsible for effective dispatching. The responsibility of developing integrated dispatch solutions lies with the Astro Console Team known for their Dispatch and Content Logging abilities.

Their principal function involves facilitating audio communication between dispatchers and radio users within the public safety sector. This includes a diverse group of professionals such as 911 call handlers firefighters police military essentially wherever realtime reliable secure communication is a priority. In addition to elevate operator performance and efficiency an array of features are available such as call logging instant recording and text communication.

Our crossfunctional Astro Console team based in Cracow is a global ensemble of 70 dedicated professionals including software engineers testers scrum masters and product owners striving to deliver the best solutions.

The Dispatch and Logging team is looking for specialists eager to develop the mission critical products. As a part of a cross functional Scrum Team you will actively participate in the end to end development process working closely with Product Owner and business stakeholders. We expect the candidate to be open to solving challenging frontend and backend problems using Angular TypeScript/JavaScript C.

Basic Requirements

• 3 years of hands on experience as a frontend developer (Angular TypeScript JavaScript)

• willingness to quickly learn and apply C programming skills and Object Oriented programming principles

• ability to work on any problem type (fullstack development approach & support for the complete development life cycle)

• good communication and collaboration skills

• fluent level of English

• agile mindset

Skills as a plus

• experience in C

• experience in Python

• working knowledge of Docker Containerization

• practical knowledge of Linux based OS

• basic knowledge of SQL

• practical knowledge of using Git version control system

• experience with CI/CD
