Job Description
Do you have a natural knack for working with your hands and troubleshooting mechanical components Join us as a Maintenance Mechanic in our Rome GA plant. This is a night shift: 5pm5am Thursday Saturday and every other Wednesday! The pay for this position is$26.35 per hour with room for growth.
Youll collaborate with an upbeat hardworking and diverse team to keep our plant running smoothly and continuously improve our machinery and maintenance department!
A Taste of What Youll Be Doing
- Preventative MaintenancePerforming basic troubleshooting repairs and preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment and industrial ovens
- Ensuring Performance EfficiencyManaging machine performance by doing equipment set up and change overs for production and responding to equipment breakdowns in a timely manner
- Following Best PracticesUnderstanding following and enforcing all established safety health quality and company policies procedures and recognized practices
Were Looking for Someone With
- High school diploma or GED
- Basic computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Demonstrated knowledge of behaviorbased safety systems
- Ability to sit stand walk lift and complete repetitive physical tasks throughout the day including occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds
