Hours: Monday Friday 2:00 PM 10:30 PM

Pay: $17.00/ Hour plus $2.00/ Hour shift differential

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Sanitation Technician 1 to support our processing department by ensuring the facility and equipment are maintained to the highest cleanliness standards. In this role you will perform essential housekeeping janitorial and pest control duties while adhering to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs). Your work will play a vital role in creating a clean safe and efficient environment. If you take pride in maintaining order and contributing to operational excellence this is the opportunity for you!
Key Responsibilities
- Manually cleaning & storing of all containers and equipment after each use according to prescribed procedures
- Assisting with a variety of janitorial tasks to ensure that all areas are kept in a clean and orderly condition
- Areas of coverage include Wet room processing equipment Production Sanitation Office/Administrative and Grounds
- Complete proper documentation of work performed.
- Ability to detect issues and troubleshoot.
- Assists Quality with investigations and inspections as needed.
- Promotes a work environment that meets cGMP regulations by following all established procedures and completing all required training on cGMPs.
- Ensures a safe work environment by following all safety rules maintaining strong safety awareness and participating in required safety training and meetings.
Qualifications & Skills
- Ability to carry out detailed oral or written instructions.
- Ability to work in a team environment without close supervision.
- Ability to effectively communicate fosters teamwork and collaboration among a diverse team.
- Must pay close attention to detail.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality as they come into contact with proprietary and sensitive documents and information.
- Basic math and computer skills are necessary.
- Excellent research troubleshooting and organizational skills.
- Ability to exercise judgment and work in a fastpaced environment.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time & heavy lifting required Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Portions of this position is in a cGMP area therefore masks lab coats and hair/beard nets must be worn. No makeup perfumes acrylic or artificial nails or jewelry allowed in cGMP work areas.
- Participates in all team meetings sharing ideas on continuous process improvement with the supervisor and team members.
- A preemployment physical is required prior to employment.
Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent with 6 months of related experience or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Working Conditions
Must be able to stand for long periods lift up to 50 lbs and work in noisy environments requiring PPE. The role may involve occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions and slippery surfaces and a preemployment physical is required. Candidates should have the ability to read and interpret manuals safety rules and company procedures. Strong problemsolving skills are essential with the capacity to interpret various instructions in written oral or diagram form. Excellent interpersonal skills are also required including the ability to organize and communicate thoughts effectively maintain composure listen actively and respond appropriately.
