Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable reliable and secure platform infrastructure using modern technologies and best practices.
- Manage and optimize cloud environments (AWS GCP) ensuring high availability scalability and costefficiency.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform Ansible and CloudFormation to automate the provisioning and management of resources.
- Design and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate the build test and deployment processes.
- Set up and maintain monitoring and logging systems (Prometheus Grafana ELK Stack) to ensure the health and performance of the platform.
- Implement security best practices to protect infrastructure and applications including identity and access management encryption and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Apply software updates to Linux Windows and databases.
- Maintain secure and enhance the office network.
- Work closely with development operations and security teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of applications.
- Identify and resolve infrastructurerelated issues ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure processes and procedures.
- Research emerging technologies to build into the platform as well as their potential impact.
Requirements:
- MustHaves:
- 13 years of systems engineering/administration experience.
- 13 years of experience with virtualization platforms.
- 13 years of experience coordinating activities of technology product and service vendors and leading technical infrastructure design activities.
- 13 years of experience in one or more hyperscalers such GCP or AWS
- Proficient in scripting bash scripting
- Proficient in Linux and Windows system administration
- Degree or equivalent with 1 to 3 years of relevant experience. (Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- NicetoHaves:
- Foundational knowledge in Python Golang or NodeJS.
- Certifications in one or more hyperscalers such as Google AWS or Azure.
