Job Description
Description of the role:
Harrisonburg Hyundai is seeking a skilled and motivated Service Technician to join our team. As a Service Technician you will be responsible for diagnosing repairing and maintaining Hyundai vehicles to ensure customer satisfaction and vehicle performance. State Inspectors encouraged!
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including oil changes filter replacements and tire rotations
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in Hyundai vehicles
- Conduct vehicle inspections and provide recommendations for necessary repairs
- Record all services and repairs performed on vehicles
- Ensure customer vehicles are clean and ready for pickup after service
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an automotive technician preferably with Hyundai vehicles
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems including engines transmissions and braking systems
- Ability to use diagnostic equipment and tools effectively
- Excellent problemsolving and decisionmaking skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

Harrisonburg Hyundai is currently seeking a qualified technician to join our growing service department!
You must have technician experience and a state inspection license is a huge plus. You must be efficient and ethical and be able to diagnose repair and help maintain our clients vehicles.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
- Testdrive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
- Diagnosing maintaining and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine transmission electrical steering suspension brakes air conditioning etc.
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
- Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong automotive background
- Strong teamwork skills
- Willing to submit to a drug screen& background check
- Must have clean & valid drivers license
