Positions are fulltime benefit eligible at 35 hours per week.
Early Childhood educators at the Bombeck Family Learning Center work with their educational team to provide high quality early care and education for infants toddlers or preschoolers. They demonstrate an understanding of the NAEYC Code of Ethical Conduct and Position on Developmentally Appropriate Practices incorporate both consistently. Early childhood educators engage in collaborative planning and critical reflection to maintain a classroom where the environment curriculum and responsive interactions are intentional and based on the most current research of the field. They provide a positive climate for children families early childhood students team members and center staff. They create an environment where differences are valued and a growth mindset is expected.
There are three levels of early childhood educators. ECE IIChild Development Associate credential. ECE III Associates degree in ECE and ECE IVBachelors/Masters in ECE. The purpose of this posting is to gather a talent pool of candidates interested in working for the Bombeck Family Learning Center. The Bombeck Family Learning Center serves as the demonstration school for the University of Dayton School of Education and Health Sciences.
