Job Description
The Multimedia Producer is tasked with the conceptualization planning and of a variety of multimedia content to be used across multiple channels including SU News SU Today social media platforms and other digital and print channels. The Multimedia Producer will play a significant role in conceiving and producing highquality photography design and video content that aligns with and supports Syracuse Universitys strategic priorities. The individual should be a competent and creative multimedia professional who collaborates well with partners to develop visual communications that support goals and priorities of the teams charged with leading and managing the Universitys communications strategy both internally and externally. The Multimedia Producer will collaborate with other members of the Division of Communications as well as executive leaders and colleagues in Academic Affairs Human Resources Student Experience Facilities and other academic and administrative units to ensure the consistent use of the Universitys brand guidelines and orientation to specific audiences and objectives.
Responsibilities
Conceptualize create and publish multimedia content (photography design and videography) in support of the Universitys strategic priorities across various channels including SU News SU Today and corresponding social media channels. Liaise with and support communications team members communications leaders and campus partners. Serve as project manager for initiatives that include multimedia production and creation.
