Location: 1850 Bluegrass Ave. Louisville KY 40215
Shift: 7p7a Fulltime

The hospital offers a full range of orthopedic cardiac neurological surgical vascular behavioral health rehabilitative and 24/7 emergency services. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital is home to the University of Louisville School of Medicines Family Medicine residency training program. The hospital has received DNV Certification in the areas of Shoulder Surgery and Advanced Foot & Ankle Surgery. It also been recognized as one of the first health care facilities in the nation to receive a Blue Distinction Center for bariatric surgery. Job Summary
The Emergency Department Tech/Unit Coordinator provides clinical patient care support in a caring safe and efficient manner under the direction of a RN. The employee also performs other functions including clerical duties admitting and discharging patients in multiple computer systems phlebotomy EKG lead placement trauma care and respiratory functions.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Experience working as a nursing assistant medical assistant or enrolled in an accredited nursing or EMT program
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Proficient computer skills
- Basic Life Support (BLS) accredited by American Heart Association (AHA)
