Requirements for Senior Quality Assurance Manager
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Quality Management Aerospace Electrical Mechanical Software Engineering or a related field;
- Masters degree preferred.
- Ten 10 years of experience in Quality Assurance
- Five 5 years in a managerial role within the Defense & Space sector.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems tools and methodologies including Six Sigma and Lean principles.
- Proven track record of successfully leading quality assurance initiatives and driving organizational change.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to make datadriven decisions.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Professional certification in quality management (e.g. ASQ Certified Quality Manager) is highly desirable.
- Must be US Citizen or Authorized to Work in the United States
SKILLS:
Skills and Abilities Required for Senior Quality Assurance Manager
- In depth knowledge of quality and reliability methods and procedures for hardware and software systems as they apply to the aerospace or electronic industry.
- Greenbelt or Blackbelt certification
- Experience with Configuration Control Management Practices.
- Experience with Agile Oracle Windchill Cincom and/or Doors Software Suites.
- Experience with JSTD and IPC standard implementation.
- ASQ certification preferred; Experience managing AS9100 certified business.

The Sr. Manager of Quality will be responsible for leading all aspects of Quality Assurance throughout the product development lifecycle.
This role requires a strategic thinker with extensive experience in quality management systems and a deep understanding of industry standards and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will ensure that all products and services meet the highest quality standards aligning with organizational goals and customer expectations
As the Sr. Quality Assurance Manager you will be in charge of two 2 major manufacturing locations in California and New Jersey and this position will have responsibility for direct supervision and leadership of 37 quality personnel with 13 direct reports.
You will be responsible for driving continual process and product improvement ensuring product and process integrity leading to customer satisfaction and overall mission success while supporting division quality delivery and cost targets while collaborating frequently with Program leadership Engineering Manufacturing and Supply Chain personnel. This is a handson highly involved leadership position.
