- Two available positions one at Level B and one at Level C.
- Fulltime on a tenurable basis.
- Base salary range: Level B $113934 $ 134824 p.a. / Level C $139000 (prorata) plus 17 superannuation.

The Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering under the School of Physics Mathematics and Computing is renowned for its awardwinning researchers teachers and facilities. The broadbased undergraduate and postgraduate programs are complemented by a wide range of research activities and the school is a leader in developing graduates with high level expertise in computer programming and the methods involved in performing complex computations and processing data. About the opportunity
- You will coordinate and teach undergraduate and postgraduate units in Computer Science Data Science Cybersecurity AI Software Engineering and IT and contribute to curriculum development.
- Conduct highimpact research publish findings secure funding and supervise research students.
- Contribute to departmental governance represent the university externally and fulfill administrative duties
About you (Level B)
- PhD in Computer Science or an academic field relevant to the discipline or other higher professional qualifications appropriate to their discipline.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver teaching approaches assessment and materials for units and courses.
- A demonstrated track record in research evidenced by peerreviewed conference and journal articles published in high quality venues relative to opportunity.
- A demonstrated emerging track record of successful competitive funding application.
- Demonstrated evidence of successful supervision or cosupervision of HDR students relative to opportunity.
- Participation in education/research leadership in public engagements that promote research and/or education outcome government and industry.
About you (Level C)
- PhD in Computer Science or an academic field relevant to the discipline or other higher professional qualifications appropriate to their discipline.
- Demonstrated excellence in the development and delivery of curricula and the use of innovative teaching approaches assessment and materials for units and courses.
- Experience in the mentoring of junior colleagues demonstrators and tutors where relevant.
- A strong track record of excellence in research at a national level evidenced by peerreviewed articles published in high quality journals and conferences.
- Demonstrated commitment to inclusive teaching practices to extend equality of opportunity for all learners.
- Experience in the mentoring of junior colleagues demonstrators and tutors where relevant.
- Demonstrated experience of leading public engagement activities that promote research and/or education outcomes government and industry.
