Youll oversee a portfolio of cuttingedge products including Solcast Wind Power Forecasts and Electricity Load Forecasts collaborating with a worldclass team to deliver exceptional value to our customers. Introduction to the role
The Product Director is a businessfocused leader who owns the product strategy and vision for our Weather Data and Forecasting portfolio. Reporting to the Head of Product you will be responsible for delivering business outcomes from a suite of products that are instrumental in optimizing renewable energy generation and grid integration. You will lead the product development lifecycle from concept to launch ensuring timely and successful delivery and drive product growth by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Product Strategy and Vision: Define and champion the product vision strategy and roadmap for weather data and forecasting products ensuring alignment with market needs and DNVs overall business objectives.
Drive Product Development: Oversee the endtoend product development lifecycle from ideation and discovery to launch and iteration collaborating effectively with engineering design and data science teams.
Achieve Business Outcomes: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for product performance ensuring products meet revenue targets profitability goals and customer satisfaction metrics.
Conduct Market Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends competitive landscape and emerging technologies incorporating insights into product strategy and development.
Collaborate with Stakeholders: Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across different departments including sales marketing and technology to ensure successful product development and launch.

The team comprises Technical Product Specialists software developers data scientists and designers all working together to achieve our ambitious product goals. Essential technical competencies and qualifications:
Education: Bachelors degree in Meteorology Engineering Business or a related field. Masters degree preferred.
Experience: 5 years of experience in product management preferably with a focus on data forecasting electricity markets or related industries. Proven track record of successfully launching and growing products and delivering commercial outcomes.
