Short Description
This position is responsible for overseeing the applications portfolio to ensure systems architecture design and strategy meets and supports business functional and technology requirements. Ensures ease of maintenance application performance and compatibility with new and existing systems. Identifies and documents all integration points across the applications portfolio for new and existing systems including all thirdparty vendor systems. Provides technical direction and guidance to application teams when implementing new systems defines limitations and requirements. Uses critical thinking in troubleshooting researching and solving technically challenging problems involving integrated systems. Collaborating with other stakeholders to ensure the architecture is aligned with business requirements.
Experience Required
610 years required
710 years relevant clinical certification and/or technical experience will be considered for those candidates who have a proven track record in the field and handling responsibilities associated with the outlined job responsibilities/summary
The architect is specific to Beacon and/or Willow and will require epic certification in one or the other.
Third party integration with pharmacy or oncology vendors is preferred
Healthcare interface experience is preferred
Pharmacy interface optimal
Education Requirements
Bachelors preferred
Business Data Analytics Information Technology/Systems Healthcare preferred.
710 years relevant clinical certification and/or technical experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
License/Certification Requirements
Preferred
RN PT OT MA LPN.
Healthcare experience in hospital medical practice or health system.
Application specific certification/proficiency within 90 days of hire if applicable
Special Requirements
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Ability to effectively translate IT terminology and processes with key stakeholders.
Strong customer service skills.
Ability to multitask in high pace work environment.
