The Pinterest Measurement team partners closely with advertisers to help grow their businesses through rigorous measurement and iterative learning. We sit at the intersection of Business and Product helping to drive performance for advertisers and providing inmarket feedback to our Product org to influence our ads and measurement solutions strategies. This position is a unique opportunity to work with seniorlevel executives on a strategic level and help to shape the future of how brands advertise on Pinterest.
What youll do:
- Drive organizational measurement excellence across Pinterests US Retail vertical architecting frameworks and systems that enable rigorous integrated measurement at scale for strategic retail clients.
- Define and oversee measurement operations and strategy for the retail sector ensuring alignment between client needs Pinterest capabilities and business objectives while building organizational muscle for iterative learning.
- Build and evolve measurement capability across the organization through structured enablement programs scalable playbooks and strategic frameworks that elevate team effectiveness in navigating complex measurement challenges.
- Establish crossfunctional partnerships at senior levels (Product Engineering Sales) to identify and address systemic measurement gaps affecting strategic retail revenue growth; drive organizational investment in closing these gaps through datadriven business cases.
- Shape Pinterests retail measurement vision and roadmap by synthesizing industry trends competitive intelligence and client feedback into actionable strategies; serve as key stakeholder in product development to ensure measurement solutions meet evolving market needs.
- Lead organizational transformation initiatives that enhance measurement effectiveness including developing talent strategy designing operational frameworks and establishing processes that drive measurement excellence at scale.
- Guide development of measurement programs that can scale across accounts while maintaining rigor; oversee resource allocation and vendor relationships to maximize impact of measurement investments.
What were looking for:
- 15 years of analytics and measurement experience across technology companies media agencies consulting firms advertisers or research companies with a primary focus on performancedriven clients.
- 6 years of technical/analytical team leadership and people development experience ideally with prior experience managing managers.
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field such as Economics Statistics Mathematics or equivalent experience
- An expert in the measurement concepts solutions and statistical fundamentals leveraged in the performance ads measurement ecosystem. Experienced in media mix modeling multitouch attribution systems site analytics geo matchedmarket testing and conversion incrementality solutions.
- Experienced at balancing rigorous advertising measurement needs with sensitivity and respect towards client and user data; deploys their understanding of digital privacy laws and regulations as part of their recommendations and plans.
- Proven ability to influence client or partner relationships across Brand and Performance marketing initiatives.
- Skilled at communicating complex measurement concepts and ads performance insights to executive audiences with varying levels of measurement sophistication ensuring clarity and actionable understanding.
- Proven experience in fostering strong crossfunctional partnerships with senior leaders in Product Engineering and Sales to identify and address measurement challenges.
- Strong capability in creating datadriven business cases to advocate for organizational investments in measurement infrastructure and capabilities.
- Expertise in leading organizational transformation initiatives including the development and implementation of talent strategies and operational frameworks that enhance team efficiency and impact.
- Strong customer focus ensuring that measurement strategies and solutions are closely aligned with client needs and deliver measurable business value.
