Responsibilities
Position Overview:
This role will work under the direction of Stockroom Clerk to assist with verifying labeling and organizing parts located in the stock room. You will work with Pactivs stockroom associate to enter information into our inventory database SAP including the part numbers and the location of the items in the stockroom. You may also assist with receiving materials into the stockroom through receiving transactions issuing materials to production or the storeroom floor. This may include a transaction out of the stockroom to the production floor. You may also assist with filling customer orders from the stockroom shelves including packing and preparing the materials for shipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Organize Label and count stock items and record data manually or using computer.
- Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockroom.
- Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors.
- Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses tool rooms supply rooms or other areas.
- Mark stock items using identification tags to include part numbers location etc.
- Keep records on the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipment.
Prepare and maintain records and reports of inventories price lists shortages shipments expenditures and goods used or issued.
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience Requirements (Qualifications)
- Qualified candidates will have 1 to 2 years of inventory/stockroom experience. SAP experience is a plus but not a requirement.
- High aptitude with math and intermediate computer skills required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; Demonstrated team player
Ability to work independently and effectively with little to no supervision.
