Job Title:
Substitute Teacher

Job Summary:
The newly established P.S.A. on the campus of the Flint Cultural Center is seeking K5 substitute teachers. This exciting opportunity awaits future teachers and certified professionals who wish to work in a creative and progressive educational environment with a strong emphasis on integrated sciences fine and performing arts. In a culture where students love learning and coming to school substitutes work collaboratively with resource professionals in the Cultural Center to maximize learning.

Required Qualifications:

60 College Credit Hours
Proficient Written and Oral Communication Skills
Ability to work with K5 grade students
Ability to work with underserved youth
Ability to follow lesson plans
Ability to be flexible in meeting students needs
Ability to use effective classroom management strategies
