Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Clinical Lab Technologist to join a dynamic Rapid Response lab just miles from Mount Vernon!
This fulltime position 8 AM 4 PM offering the opportunity to work in a cuttingedge laboratory environment with a focus on preparing pathological slides for diagnostic procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and emergency tests on various body fluids using automated and manual equipment
- Prepare reagents and manage inventory
- Assist with order entry and phone inquiries
- Provide guidance to technicians and train new employees
- Maintain a clean work area following Infection Control guidelines
- Handle additional lab tasks as needed
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in a physical science; medical technology preferred.
- New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist License or a limited permit is required.
- Proficiency with laboratory and hospital information system computers as well as various automated and laboratory equipment is essential.
