How Will You Make an Impact
As an Incoming Quality Control (IQC) Inspector you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all incoming materials and components meet Customer and Jabil quality standards. Your attention to detail and expertise in inspection processes will help maintain highquality production reduce defects and improve overall manufacturing efficiency.
What Will You Do
Perform incoming quality inspections on materials used in manufacturing.
Support logistics and staging of incoming materials ensuring proper identification of released and nonconforming (NC) materials.
Verify material conformance to drawing specifications and industry standards.
Interpret and apply company and industry specifications or standards to inspections.
Review material specifications and drawings to identify CriticaltoQuality (CTQ) characteristics for verification.
Document inspection results and collaborate with internal teams to address quality concerns.
How Will You Get Here
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Technical certification or coursework in quality control manufacturing or engineering is a plus.
Experience:
Previous experience in electronics custom mechanical and subassembly component inspections.
Handson experience performing incoming inspections in a manufacturing or quality control environment.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment such as calipers micrometers hardness testers etc.
Strong understanding of material specifications blueprints and engineering drawings.
Ability to identify and verify CriticaltoQuality (CTQ) characteristics.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel Word PowerPoint SharePoint Teams etc..
Strong problemsolving skills with an analytical mindset.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with SAP or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
Prior training or certification in quality control Six Sigma or ISO standards.
Experience working in a highvolume manufacturing environment.
