Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for optical setups and alignments of the electro optical assemblies
- Proposed design solutions and validation methods for efficient high speed transceivers and components
Education & Experience
- BS/MS degree and pursuing PhD degree.
- Strong communications skills both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint)
Skills
- Strong interpersonal teaming and problemsolving skills.
- Work effectively with other members of Coherent Corp.
Working Conditions
- This position is onsite
- Regular use of a computer and other office equipment is necessary
Physical Requirements
- Sitting for extended periods while working on a computer or conducting meetings.
- Use of hands and fingers for typing writing and handling documents.
- Occasional lifting of objects or materials up to 20 pounds for administrative tasks.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
- Mobility within the office environment to attend meetings or interact with colleagues.
