Job Description
Material development and testing quality controlcharacterisation metallic working and indigenous realisation of materials forlaunch vehicles.
Skills/Requirements
Basicknowledge of aerospace materials. Experience in one or more manufacturingmethods: welding additive manufacturing casting forging etc.
Familiaritywith standard testing methods and development of design allowables formaterials.
Experiencein characterization techniques such as Scanning Electron Microscopy andmetallographic analysis.
Experiencein failure analysis and fractography.
Strongengineering judgment and capability to learn new concepts quickly.
Capabilityto physically understand the problems and offer quick solutions on a systemlevel.
Abilityto work in a fast paced autonomously driven and demanding startupenvironment.
Interactionwith multiple teams to ensure the design meets all requirements.
Excellentcommunication skills both written and verbal.
Minimum Qualification
B.E/ B.Tech or equivalent in Metallurgy / Material Science or equivalent and Mastersin Materials Engineering or a related field.
Minimumof 1 year of professional experience in a materials engineering role.
