- Assess and monitor wounds
- Debride clean and bandage wounds
- Work with the care team to determine treatments
- May work in a specialty capacity to care for ostomies diabetic foot care and more
- Educates patients and caretakers on wound care infection and injury prevention and pressure ulcer care and prevention for those who are bedridden or have limited mobility
- Completes proper documentation

- Joint Commission accredited
- Current unrestricted RN license in state for which care is being provided
- Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest xray
- Minimum one 1 year of documented experience required in a home health agency primary care clinic or health facility preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of wound care experience
- Licensed driver with valid automobile insurance
- Must be able to stand walk squat bend kneel reach twist push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
