Job Description
Homer Skelton Hyundai is seeking a detailoriented and customerfocused Service Rental Car Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage the rental car process for service customers ensuring a seamless and efficient experience. This role requires excellent organizational skills strong communication abilities and a customerfirst attitude.
Schedule:
- Monday Friday
- Full Time in person
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate rental car reservations for service department customers.
- Verify insurance and drivers license information before issuing rental vehicles.
- Maintain accurate records of rental agreements and vehicle availability.
- Assist customers with rental inquiries and ensure a smooth checkin/checkout process.
- Work closely with the service department to anticipate rental needs.
- Inspect returned vehicles for damage and document any issues.
- Ensure rental vehicles are clean fueled and ready for use.
- Process rental payments and resolve billing concerns.
- Follow company policies and state regulations regarding rental agreements.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in car rentals automotive service or customer service is a plus.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and rental management software.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle customer concerns professionally.
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
- Must be able to pass a drug screening.
