Job Description
Job Summary:
The Pediatric Caregiver at 5 Star Homecare will provide compassionate and highquality care to pediatric patients in Myrtle Beach South Carolina. This is a parttime hourly job and will require an individual who is dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of children and their families. As a Pediatric Caregiver you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to support the physical emotional and social wellbeing of pediatric patients.

Responsibilities:
Provide direct care and assistance to pediatric patients under the guidance of a Registered Nurse
Assist with daily activities such as bathing dressing feeding.
Monitor and record patients vital signs and report any changes to the supervising nurse
Help create a safe and stimulating environment for pediatric patients
Engage in activities that promote physical cognitive and emotional development
Communicate effectively with patients families and healthcare team members
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols
Collaborate with the nursing team to develop and implement individualized care plans
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Current CPR certification
12 years of experience working with pediatric patients preferred
Knowledge of pediatric medical conditions and treatments
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Compassion patience and a positive attitude
Ability to meet physical demands of the job including standing for extended periods bending lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed
