Responsibilities:

Working under the supervision of the Property Manager the incumbent assists the Property Manager in the supervision of staff work necessary for the proper completion of all property management functions.

Essential Duties:

  • Inspect apartments for moveins moveouts annual HQS and housekeeping.
  • Inspect grounds and common areas on a daily basis and followsup with tenants on lease enforcement issues.
  • Collect rent.
  • Interview prospective residents show apartments explain lease agreements and grievance procedures.
  • Confer with the Property Manager on residentrelated management problems and takes appropriate followup action.
  • Work closely with other clientdepartments and administrative personnel to effectively plan and implement programs at assigned property.
  • Consult with residents to resolve problems investigates complaints interprets housing policies and enforces the lease agreement.
  • Assist the Property Manager in establishing work schedules and assigning work as required to maintain efficient use of management staff time to complete a variety of reports and recommend corrective action as appropriate.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of all letters memos and notices.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Strong listening skills and a high interest level in working with low to moderate income clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Knowledge of PCbased software applications (Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook)
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or at any time in thefuture.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor Degree in Property Management or related field or an equivalent combination of education and property management experience.

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to maintain a stationary position operate computers and other office equipment move about the office attend onsite and offsite meetings and communicate. The employee must be able to sit or stand for eight hours while performing essential work duties. The employee must be able to accurately exchange information in person in writing and via email and telephone. The employee must be able to perform essential job functions in an environment that could have increased stress levels.

Other:

The candidate must possess and maintain a valid drivers license in state of residence and maintain an insurable driving record under the terms and conditions of the clientauto liability policy. The candidate may have no more than 6 accumulated points in 3 consecutive years.
