Job Description
Miklos Systems Inc. is an EmployeeOwned company providing software and systems engineering services to customers primarily in the Federal Government. Our value to customers is our expertise in building delivering and supporting solutions using a disciplined engineeringbased agile approach.
We are currently adding System Engineers or Architects to our team to support multiple projects as our customers refactor their custom software applications to the AWS and Azure clouds. Our approach uses a microservices architecture combined with our deep understanding of the business area to provide rapid build and deployment of solutions.
The Systems Engineer will partner with customer experts and the software development team to implement mission specific solutions across the IT applications infrastructure operations and security domains.
Responsibilities/Required Skills include:
- Plan and orchestrate the development and transition of prototypes to technology solutions
- Participate in the identification of the customers technology problems gaps and risks then architect scalable solutions for the enterprise
- Lead the evaluation of emerging technologies and recommend changes to requirements
- Gather and analyze system requirements in the context of best practices
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
Experience with:
- Delivering software projects
- Demonstrated Agile systems development
- Developing and managing plans and success measures
- Working with cloudbase projects
- Effective (verbal and written) communications of technical concepts and project plans
Experience with the following is preferred:
- DevOps Tools
- Amazon Web Services
- Systems planning security principles and software management best practices
