ROLE SUMMARY:
Were looking for someone who wants to merchandise these awesome brands in a way that will lead to a future with more cheers. We are recruiting for a Summer Merchandising Associate. This is an entry level summer contract position which includes the opportunity to grow within a leading beer company.
This position operates within a diverse market and focuses on improving sales through the implementation of various visual marketing tools and campaigns. Successful candidates should have a passion for working with others in a clientfacing environment and a desire for a longterm sales focused growing career within Labatt.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- This is an entry level summer position for someone looking to start or develop their career.
- You will be supporting day to day sales & marketing activities customer promotions including:
- Building brand product and marketing displays
- Supporting at events (i.e.: concerts festivals bar/restaurant launch parties trade shows etc.
- Ensuring all merchandising tools and promotional materials are being executed across our sales channels
- Supporting with various regional sales and marketing activations
- Attending and participating in brand experience promotions
- Assisting in general set up and tear down of events
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with Labatts extensive network of customers.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Currently enrolled in postsecondary education
- Valid unrestricted drivers license required with personal vehicle
- Available to work fulltime hours on a flexible schedule.
- Have a passion for working with a diverse group of people and building relationships.
- Ability to take direction while also possessing strong problemsolving skills.
- Enjoy working independently while being part of a fastpaced team environment
- Outstanding time management skills coupled with the ability to coordinate and prioritize tasks.
- Previous customer service merchandising hospitality industry and/or sales experience is an asset.
