Job Description
The following vacancies exist in Goshen Community Schools for the 2024Summer School Session:
Elementary Schools
2024 IREAD Summer School Teachers
Summer employment is based on student enrollment summer school experience commitment to the entire session endorsements and principal recommendations. Employment status may change during the employment dates.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid Indiana Teaching License
- Preference will be given to current GCS Teachers
QUALITIES DESIRED:

- High energy committed to teaching in collaboration with others
- Can motivate students
- Strong problem solver
- Skilled at communicating with staff and students
- Can model thinking and problemsolving skills to students
- Fosters positive validating relationships within the school community
DATES AND HOURS:
June 3 6 (Tuesday Friday)7:30 a.m. 11:30am
June 9 13 (Monday Friday)7:30 11:30am
June 16 18 (Monday Thursday)7:30 11:30am
June 23 26 (Monday Thursday)7:30 12:00pm
67.5 hours of employment (with planning) 60 hours of classroom instruction
SALARY:$50.00 per hour
