Job Description
We are looking for an Entry Level Assembler who will be responsible for efficiently assembling quality production parts. This fulltime position is based out of Cashco Inc. headquarters in Ellsworth KS.
1st shift 7:00 am 3:30 pm Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Using hand tools power tools or machinery to assemble component parts for Cashco products.
- Inspecting and testing assembled products for quality and accuracy.
- Identifying and reporting any defects or issues at any given time.
- Following safety procedures.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Communicating with other employees and supervisors as necessary.
- Effectively meeting production goals in a timely manner.
- Trouble shooting issues that arise during the assembly process and help implement solutions to ensure a smooth workflow.
- May be responsible for training new employees and providing guidance to less experienced assemblers.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience and Skills:
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks daily.
- Must have the ability to read blueprints and understand the assembly process.
- Strong communication organizational and problemsolving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy is essential.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Must have a technical aptitude and understand mechanical principles.
- Must be extremely reliable and dependable.
- Must be a team player.
Continuous movement of parts weighing up to 50 pounds with or without accommodations are required in all positions.
Education and experience will determine beginning wage.
